Kopernik Lodge Autumn 2025: A Season of Celebration, Culture, and Community!
Autumn 2025 at Kopernik Lodge was a season filled with celebration, culture, and community connection.
In our autumn newsletter we learn about the beauty and spirit of the season, from reflections on October’s iconic autumn colours to meaningful cultural features such as the Polish word Jesień (autumn).
Festive traditions took centre stage with featured events on Oktoberfest, Birthdays and Halloween, such as dress up costumes, beer tasting, music, singing and a magic show.
Check out the Bookmarks Display created by Sara who is only eights years old! She dedicated her generous time and talents too create bookmarks for the Residents to enjoy.

Summer at Kopernik Lodge was filled with friendship, fun, and unforgettable activities that bring our community together.
Wow! What a wonderful summer we’ve had!
This summer was alive with creativity and connection. Residents enjoyed ice cream cones and delicious smoothies that brought smiles all around, making summer days a little sweeter and more refreshing.
Alongside these, the season brought garden socials, arts & crafts sessions, and relaxing afternoons of board games and puzzles.

Spring is definitely here, and it’s bursting out all over Kopernik Lodge’s walks and grounds. Residents have been able to take in the beautiful colours and mild sunshine – a welcome event after the grey of winter. Take a look at what’s blooming around:

We’ve been busy this past winter season, with so much to do and so much to celebrate!

This vibrant issue is blooming with events such as a Magic Show, Fathers Day and Easter Celebrations plus musical performances that promise to brighten every day.
Residents have been really digging in with some spring gardening. Being able to spend more time outdoors was wonderful!
You’ll also find heartwarming photos, staff highlights, and a look at how we’re continuing to foster a warm, supportive environment for everyone at the lodge.

A Magical Winter – Full of Friends, Fun, and Family
Wow! What a wonderful winter we’ve had!
We’ve been busy this past winter season, with so much to do and so much to celebrate!
We’ve celebrated our heritage with the Millennium Jubilee of Poland and Polish Grandparents Day. We’ve celebrated the holiday season with Christmas giving, tree trimming, and Santa visiting. We’ve celebrated New Year’s Eve, and Chinese New Year. And we’ve celebrated love, friendship and family with Valentines Day fun.
And just in case you don’t think that’s enough, our residents also had a special performance by our Nursing Dept filled with music and dance. It was magical, and we’ve got photos to share with you inside our newsletter, not to mention our Volunteer spotlight, featurettes about Alice in Wonderland, gumdrop day, opera, radio history – and so much more!
So please grab a warm beverage, cuddle up in your favourite chair, and take a read to know all that we have been up to.
